Henry Sinclair, knight (d.c.1330)

Biography
Henry was the son of William Sinclair (d.1300x03), and brother of William Sinclair, bishop of Dunkeld, Gregory and Annabel. He was captured at Dunbar in 1296. He was sheriff of Lanark in September 1305. He seems to have been in the English king's peace, but joined Bruce by October 1313. He appended his seal to the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320 and died around 1330. With his wife, Alicia of Fenton, he had one son, William who was killed in 1330 in Spain with Sir James Douglas.
