Biography: Watt and Murray, Fasti, 310: Hugh occurs 1225 and 19 June 1226 as archdeacon of Moray. He occurs also in March 1226/7. His surname is suggested by Watt and Murray. Watt and Murray, Fasti, 284: Hugh occurs 19 June 1226x4 Sept 1230 as dean of Moray and had probably obtained possession before 20 June 1228.
