Robert, king of Scots, to his justiciar north of the Forth, and the sheriffs of Perth and Forfar and their baillies, noting that he has inspected and truly understood the charters of the abbot and convent of Scone over all their lands, holdings and possessions which they ought to hold by right, in pure and perpetual alms, as freely as any lands are held in his kingdom. He grants, ratifies and confirms these lands, holdings and possessions, and prohibits anyone from taking prises, captions, carriages, or services, from the religious men or their men dwelling on the said lands.
