David, king of Scots, has granted, from his special grace, to his beloved and faithful John Gray, clerk of the rolls, 100s from the fines, amercements or escheats of the chamberlain ayre, and the same number (100s) from the profits of his justiciar north of Forth, every year for the term of his lifetime. He commands his chamberlain and justiciar north of Forth to make these payments.
