- David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified and confirmed that donation and sale which Margery de Montgomery senior and Margery de Montgomery daughter of John de Montgomery relative of the aforesaid Margery made to his beloved and faithful John Kennedy of the lands of Cassillis in the earldom of Carrick in the sheriffdom of Ayr; as contained in Margery's charter; saving the king's service.
