David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful John of Craigie all the land of Merchiston (MLO), which was John of Crichton's, and which John of Crichton reisgned by staff and baton at Dundee on 13 August, AD 1367; holding in feu and heritage, as freely as John of Crichton held it, for service owed and wont.
