Abbot R[obert?] and convent of Dunfermline for Richard of Moray, son of Murdoch, son of Alexander of Moray; with consent of chapter, have given all land of 'Kyndun' (Kildun, ROS) next to Dingwall in Ross (ROS), to hold of Dunfermline for an annual payment of one pair [of gloves?] at feast of the Nativity of Blessed John the Baptist at our cell of Urquhart, by the sub-prior of Urquhart, and doing homage and fealty to Dunfermline. Also, Richard shall have all amercements and escheats as concerns land, besides amercements and escheats that by right pertain to crown; Dunfermline reserves right of their regality of certain amercements and escheats, and shall warrant, discharge and defend land against all men and women.
