Fearchar, earl of Ross, has given, granted, and established by his charter, to Walter of Moray, son of the late Hugh of Moray, two davochs of land in Ross (ROS), namely ‘Clon’, by its right bounds and with all just pertinents, holding in feu and heritage, for an annual render of one pound of pepper on the feast of St Martin, for all service and demand, and making forinsec service of the lord king.
