Pope Urban IV commands Master Leonard, to receive from the prior and chapter of Whithorn 36 marks, with other sums of the crusaders, collected in Scotland by Ivo, Friar Preacher of Ayr, and deposited in the said church of Whithorn, as appears by letters of the prior to Pope Alexander. Urban also has written to the prior and chapter ordering them to pay over the whole deposit and any other money belonging to the Roman church and the Holy Land, without delay or difficulty.
