John de Haga son and heir of Peter de Haga, lord of Bemersyde, has granted and by his charter established to Dryburgh Abbey the donation which Peter de Haga his father made of all that part of his wood of ‘Flatwod’ (in Mertoun parish, BWK), by stated bounds, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with free entry and exit through all of his land with their carts and their things, except for lands sown with seed and unmown meadows.
