Hugh Cnot has given and by his charter established to Inchcolm Priory, in perpetuity, for the soul of his lord, Richard, bishop of Dunkeld, of good memory, a render of 2s. annually which he received by hereditary right from the land that Thurkin the blood-letter (ventusator) held in the burgh of Haddington (ELO), half at Pentecost and half at Martinmas.
