Description: Ralph Noble, by his present charter and seal has bound himself and his heirs for ever that on account of the charter of the prior and convent of the church of Durham that they made to him in respect of the land that he shall hold of them by hereditary right in the villa of Lamberton, that is, one toft and four acres of land, he shall maintain the prior and convent unharmed.
