Geoffrey Ridel has granted and by this charter established the donation which the monks of Kelso made to the monks of Melrose of two oxgangs of land and two acres of meadow which the monks of Kelso held in his villa of Primside (ROX) and of pasture for 400 sheep in the common pasture of the same villa because of the agreement made between the houses concerning the controversy which existed between the houses concerning the bounds between Bowden and the grange of Eildon and of Darnick.
