Eschina, lady of Mow, has given and granted and by this her charter established to Paisley Priory, for the welfare of her lord King William and of David his brother, and of her lord Walter, and of others, and for the souls of King David and King Malcolm and Earl Henry and of her daughter Margaret, in perpetual and quiet alms, one ploughgate of land in the western side of ‘Blachedane’ in her territory of Mow (ROX), by stated bounds, and in the villa of Mow, in the east part, four acres and three perches of land, and common pasture with all other easements of the same villa, as well as pasture for 500 sheep, free and quit from all custom, exaction, and secular service.
