Description
Alexander de St Martin gave and by the present writing strengthened (munivi) to Dryburgh Abbey, ‘Langelaw’ (Bangly Hill, in Haddington ph., ELO) by the marches by which he held the land from Countess Ada, his lady, to hold in perpetual alms, for the soul of Malcolm Moreville in reconciliation and peace of Richard de Moreville, constable, and all the children of the said Malcolm, and of Adulph, his brother, who in a certain misfortune killed Malcolm de Moreville while hunting.
