Description: Alexander, lord of Stirling, knight, has given and granted and by this his present charter established to the church of St Serf of Alva (CLA), one acre of land with its pertinents in the villa of Alva, which lies near St Serf’s well, between the well and the church, with free entry and exit, having and holding in free, pure and perpetual alms by all the rectors of that church.
