An agreement is formed between Geoffrey de Maleville and Robert ‘Hutlaga’ (Outlaw), whereby Robert gave quit whatever he had in ‘Buna’ (possibly Boon in Lauderdale, BWK) to Geoffrey to hold in perpetuity. Robert Outlaw ‘eased’ (asiavit) his faith (fealty? pledge?) (fidem) to Goeffrey, for which Geoffrey gave Robert Outlaw four marks in the presence of Hugh Bret his lord, with his assent and consent.
