Robert, king of Scots, granted by inheritance to Malcolm, earl of Lennox, the office of sheriff of Clackmannan (CLA) for [his] provision of everything which may justly be owed to pertain to the office, laws and customs of the kingdom. He mandates everyone affected by this gift, firmly instructing they should be accommodating and answerable to William and his heirs, as to the sheriffs of Clackmannan.
