Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful William of Irvine all his forest of Drum (ABD) outwith his park, except the lands given to Alexander called Burnard of the same forest, holding in feu and heritage, with multures and mills, with hawking, fishing and hunting, with cains, renders, courts, amercements and escheats, rendering annually for the upkeep of his park of Drum one calder of oatmeal on St Andrew's Day every year. He also grants that they may hold it in free forest in perpetuity. He prohibits anyone from hawking, fishing or hunting without special licence on the king's full forfeiture of ten pounds.
