Robert, king of Scots, has given our beloved and faithful William of Irvine all his forest of Drum (ABD) outwith his park excepting the land he gave to Alexander called Burnard, holding in feu and heritage, in free barony, with pit and gallows, soke and sake, toll and team, and infangenthef, with cains, renders, etc., for a chalder of oatmeal on St Andrew's Day. He has also granted that he may hold the lands in free forest in perpetuity. He firmly prohibits anyone fishing, fowling or hunting there without William's special licence, on pain of forfeiture of 10 pounds.
